Terry was born in Pascagoula, MS, in ‘58 and born again in Christ Jesus in ‘66 at Lockler Memorial Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, AL. Terry and his wife Lynne have two children, Georgia and Wayne. They are proud grandparents of Lizzie Podany and Lincoln Harris, Cash and Lucy Davis, and Brennan and Ella Schwartz. At the age of 13, Lizzie performed with her grandfather on the release "Jesus Is The Best.” Lizzie went on to pursue a career at Texas Women’s University in Music Therapy and performed in the Women’s Choir.

Terry began writing and singing in church at age 8. He plays the piano and percussion. He is a graduate of Greystone Christian School (1977) and Louisiana Baptist University (1996). He is a Deacon of Landmark Baptist Church in Tyler, TX, and just recently resigned as Worship and Band leader to pursue a Gospel Music and Speaking Ministry.

He says of his ministry, "I want to create a picture in your mind that reminds you of how great and loving our Savior Jesus Christ is, and if you don't know him, then to create such a scene that motivates to seek out what you're missing. I believe that the whole world just longs for some peace, for some comfort, for some security and we can only really find that in Jesus. I can't get over what Jesus has done for me, and never get tired of sharing that!

Father

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 Tim 4:12. Despite his young age, Wayne inspired many as a father and husband. I am counted as one.

Brother

So much more than a brother, a friend, an uncle, a listening ear, a kid at heart, a jock, a laugh. Not a day goes by that our family doesn’t miss Wayne’s place in our family.

The moments we shared were hardly enough. The moments we had simply showed us we could never be more proud, more blessed, more humbled by the gift God gave us with Wayne.
